- The U.S. Department of Energy, Energy Information Administration (EIA), intends to award a sole source contract to Nehring Associates of Colorado Springs, CO. The contract will provide a copy of the Nehring Associates, Inc. database entitled: ???The Significant Oil and Gas Fields of the United States Database.??? The database includes the following: complete integration of information by field and major reservoir, economic field and reservoir production and size histories, complete cross-referencing of field codes and names to the IHS field names and codes, and design that facilitates GIS applications. The database covers all producing provinces in the United States except for the Appalachian Basin and Cincinnati Arch. The proposed contract is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR Section 6.302. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties that feel they can provide these services may respond by submitting their capability statement, including prices, to the email address listed below. All submissions must be received within fifteen (15) days of the publication day of this notice.
