- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Atlanta intends to award, on a sole source basis, a purchase/delivery order to Honeywell Analytics Distribution Inc, 400 Sawgrass Corporation Parkway, Suite 100, Sunrise FL, 33325. The purchase/delivery order is for procuring a SPM Portable Meter. The SPM Portable Tape Meter has the required technology (colorimeteric versus ionization) to sample the air every 15 minutes and provide real time information about the level of a chemical in the air. The color change confirms the chemical identity. This color change is used to document the chemical presence. This SPM Tape Meter is the only instrument that can be used for this study. The authority for this sole source procurement is FAR part 13.106-1, the proposed contract action is made in the condition described in 6.302-2 for purchases conducted using simplified acquisition procedures. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Firms that believe they can provide the required products/services are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 15 days from the publication date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
