- The Food and Drug Administration proposes to negotiate on a sole source basis; a Purchase Order with Elsevier Inc. to procure SCOPUS. SCOPUS is the world's largest abstract database with content that FDA reviewers can take advantage of. The Office of Shared Services, FDA Biosciences Library has a requirement for a publication with content relevant to the work of FDA reviewers and other agency staff. This subscription provides access coverage of the scientific, technical, medical, and social science literature with abstracts that dates back to 1966. The information contained in this database enables the FDA Library to provide information required by FDA staff to fulfill their duties. This is a simplified acquisition being solicited and awarded under FAR Part 13 procedures. The anticipated award date is January 29, 2007.
