- The U.S. Coast Guard intends to award a follow-on sole source contract for Architect-Engineering Services consisting of Construction Contract Support Services and Field Support Services to the firm Tryck Nyman Hayes during the construction of the SSX Building LORSTA St. Paul, Alaska. Tryck Nyman Hayes provided the complete design for the SSX Building LORSTA St. Paul, Alaska under a contract for design services for LORSTA St. Paul, AK. Tryck Nyman Hayes is considered the Designer of Record for this building. They have knowledge of existing conditions which would result in duplication of costs to the Government that would not be recovered through soliciting competitive proposals for this work. This contract will require responses from the designer of record from the construction contractor regarding questions pertaining to the specifications and/or drawings prepared by Tryck Nyman and Hayes during the construction of the building. On site visits may also be required during the construction of the building. The estimated services under this contract are not expected to exceed $27,000.00.
