- Provide design and construction services to Replace & Upgrade Fuel Oil Storage Tanks at the VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, Nashville and Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Construction and design work includes (but is not limited to) fire and safety, fire alarm, sprinkler, demolition, industrial hygiene, abatement, structural, architectural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical power and systems. Project objectives: 1) Replace 4 single wall, metal, underground fuel storage tanks with fiberglass double wall tanks that are fully monitored at the Murfreesboro campus. 2) Replace corroded fuel piping and upgrade to current standards 3 fuel tanks that are located inside a concrete vault at the Nashville campus. The design consultant shall provide all necessary architectural and engineering services required to prepare a complete design (stamped contract drawings, specifications, technical reports, cost estimates, inspections, quality assurance, commissioning, etc.) and construction period services to insure successful completion of the project. Performance Period is 120 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. Award of contract will be based on the best value to the Government. Evaluation factors include technical, management, past performance, and price. The NAICS code is 236220 and the size standard is $28.5 million. This acquisition is 100% setaside to service disabled veteran owned small businesses. Offers are due by 4:30 p.m. on 1/26/07.
