Description
McChord AFB intends to establish a firm-fixed price contract for Skimmer/Oil-Water Separator Maintenance. The contemplated contract is for a one-year base period with four one-year option periods. The contractor shall provide all personnel supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform Skimmer/Oil-Water Separator Maintenance to include: sampling, analyzing, manifesting, cleaning, collecting and removing and disposing of waste from industrial waste collection system separators and oil collection tanks. The majority of the work is performed on or near the flightline. This acquisition will be accomplished as a Commercial Service pursuant to FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and in accordance with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiations. In conformance with FAR Part 19, Small Business Programs, this acquisition is being considered for HUBZone set aside. If your firm is HUBZone certified and intends to propose on this acquisition, please provide the following information to the Contracting Office no later than 20 days after the publication of this notice. Please limit your response to one type written page and annotate the corresponding solicitation number. 1) Name of Company 2) Address 3) Phone and Fax number 4) E-mail address 5) Point of Contact 6) SBA Certification/HubZone elegibility 7) Positive statement that your firm intends to submit a proposal for the acquisition Base on the responses, the Contracting Officer will make a determination whether or not to make this HUBZone set-aside. If there is not a reasonable expectation of adequate competition as a HUBZone set-aside, the acquisition will be set-aside 100% small business. Offerors will be evaluated using Price Performance Trade-Off. The solicitation package will be issued on or about 12 Feb 07. The applicable Standard Classification (SIC) is 7699; NAICS 562998; Small Business Size Standard $6,500,000.00. While funds are not presently available to fund this requirement, we anticipate funds will become available by 15 May 07. The solicitation package will be posted EXCLUSIVELY on the electronic posting system at http://www.fbo.gov/. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. Potential offerors must register at http://www.fbo.gov/ in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be eligible for award. Contractors must also be registered in the ORCA database.
