- The US Army Communications Electronics Lifecycle Management Command (C-E LCMC) Acquisition center on behalf of the LRC IEWS intends to acquire Optical Imagers 100 each SU-121/UA (NSN# 5855-01-082-3685). The proposed action will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) type contract with two (2) separate one (1) year options. These requirements shall be manufactured using top drawing number SM-D-657725, associated drawings, and exceptions to drawings, which will be provided by the Government, and appropriate mili tary specifications. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside and will be a REVERSE AUCTION ACQUISITION. This is an invitation for bid (IFB) and the solicitation number assigned is W15P7T-07-B-W607. The solicitation will include configuration controls and data items as required and will be posted on or about 30 January 2007 on the Interactive Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) website. The contractor shall perform First Article Testing (FAT) for item SU-121/UA in accordance with FAR 52.209-3 and the Statement of Work. FAT requirements may be waived for previous producers. The delivery schedule for the SU-121/UA with first article testing will be 10 units, 300 days after contract award, 20 units due 330 days after contract award and 20 units due each month thereafter until contract completion. The delivery schedule for item SU-121/UA without FAT requirements will be 15 units, 180 days after contract award, 20 units, 210 days after contract award with 20 units due each month thereafter until c ompletion. Shipments are to be FOB Destination with Inspection/Acceptance at Source. Packaging and packing shall be in accordance with standard practices for commercial packaging.
