- This is a Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract to Marine Corp Community Service (MCCS), Twentynine Palms, CA 92278 in the amount of $84,000.00 for the laundry coin-op services. These services are to provide the Marines training aboard Camp Wilson adequated facilities to wash and dry their garments. The contract will be for the period of Febuary 2 , 2006 through September 30, 2007. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and a capability to respond to the requirement and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide the supplies or services sought including pricing data and technical sufficient enough to determine that a comparable source to the government is available. The government will be the sole determiner regarding an offeror?s ability to meet all requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The government will consider all Expressions of Interest (EOIs) received prior to 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis before 1200PM PST on that date. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All facsimile (transmission) pages must be clear in understanding; all pages of facsimile (transmission) must arrive and reach the office by the deadline specified, and any pages of facsimile (transmission) received after the specified deadline will not be considered. The submitter bears the risk of non-receipt of facsimile transmission and should confirm by telephone that any and all facsimile was received. This purchase will be under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii)(A). The anticipated awarded date is January 22, 2006.
