- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is soliciting sources for Ink Drier Cobalt 5.6% Printing Resinate High Viscosity in 55 gallon drum (440-LBS per drum) close metal drum. (Stock No. 1I000248) Quantity: 5100 LBS. To be in accordance with BEP specification D: CR-2D dated: October 28, 1997 (ingredient used in almost all ink manufactured) (To Be Palletize). (SEE ATTACHED SPECIFICATION). Vendor to provide certificate of analysis or certificate of conformance & results of inspection for each batch or lot in shipment. Shipped To: Bureau of Engraving and Printing, 9000 Blue Mound Road, Fort Worth TX 76131. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. This acquisition is set-side for small business. The applicable North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code is 325910, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The request for quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-07-0141. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. All interested small businesses are requested to submit a written quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on a SF1449, SF18 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUNS numbers, size status (that is, small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). If this Ink Drier Cobalt is available under GSA Schedule, please provide the schedule number. Quotations are due by 2:30 P.M. on January 26, 2007.
