- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice for a firm, fixed-price contract for the planning and design for landscape and grounds improvements for the U.S. Supreme Court. The Contractor shall provide a cost estimate and construction documents complete and ready for construction procurement by Request for Proposal (RFP) in conformance with the AOC A/E Design Manual, Part 4m - Design requirements for Medium Projects. The contractor shall create a landscape plan that incorporates and integrates several discrete projects into a cohesive and balanced grounds solution that reflects the nature of the original design and the building while incorporating current technology to provide a more sustainable and manageable solution. The successful contractor shall also provide construction management services during the construction phase. The solicitation will be issued on or about November 21, 2006. The due date for receipt of proposals will be on or about December 21, 2006. The solicitation will be available electronically at http://www.aoc.gov/business/procure-opps.cfm on the date of issuance. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE ENCOURAGED TO DOWNLOAD THE ELECTRONIC VERSION AS THIS WILL EXPEDITE RECEIPT OF THE SOLICITATION. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO MONITOR THIS SITE FOR ALL CHANGES!! Date and time for a site visit will be determined later.
