- Description
- The purpose of this contract is to locate and repair underground water leak near Bldg 214 riser house number 3 at the DNSC New Haven, IN Depot. Water is leaking underground in an area near the PIV valve for Bldg 214, Riser House #3, an approximately forty foot square area, leak maybe in multiple locations. The road surfaces near the leak are a mix of asphalt surfaced roads and compacted stone surfaced roads and stands. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, materials, parts, and supplies required to remove, repair and/or replace old water pipe and its components with identical capabilities IAW acceptable commercial practices and NFPA codes. The contractor may propose to re-configure current installation if it?s not feasible to replace/repair water pipe in its current configuration, provided the new configuration achieves the same form and function and complies with all codes. The project shall include fire alarm testing to ensure the PIV sensors are properly connected and the signal control points are registering at the central fire alarm control panel in the main office building.
