Description

The Hampton, Virginia Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 100 Emancipation Drive, Hampton, Virginia intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Johnson Controls, Inc., 5757 N Green Bay Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53201 local office located at 2730 Ayliff Road, Suite 101, Norfolk, Virginia 23513. The proposed contract is for preventative maintenance services for one the energy management system located in several buildings with one control point. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). All FAR provisions and clauses may be reviewed and/or obtained from the General Service Internet address: http//www.arnet.gov/far. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses received, will be made entirely at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Please submit information to Kim Richmond, Contract Specialist, Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center, 200 Veterans Ave, Beckley, WV 25801. Offeror must complete and return all information designated in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offers - Commercial Items. All responses must be received no later than Thursday, February 1, 2007 at 2:00pm EST. Telephone and internet responses will not be accepted.
