Description
This announcement is to provide notification of the Department of Veterans Affairs, GLAC (Great Lakes Acquisition Center), intent to enter into a Consignment Agreement with Johnson and Johnson Health Care Systems, Boston Scientific, Medtronic and Guidant for FDA approved Coronary stents, balloon catheters, guide wires and guide catheters. The four selected companies may provide the Coronary stents, balloon catheters, guide wires and guide catheters in various sizes and quantities to be readily accessible for placement in the Department of Veterans Affairs facilities within the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 12. The Agreement will be for a twelve month base period with two one year option periods. This requirement will be awarded on an unrestricted basis. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide the product. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements must provide written notification to the Contracting Officer within five days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received the GLAC will proceed with the intended consignment agreement. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquires will be accepted.
