- This notice is released to announce a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers District, New Orleans requirement for two re-manufactured Detroit Diesel 8V92 marine engines. The Request for Quote is for a firm-fixed price supply contract to be competed under sol icitation W912P8-07-T-0034. This action is set aside 100% for Small Business concerns under NAICS code 339999, size standard 500 employees. The RFQ and all information pertaining to this acquisition will be made available electronically through the Federa l Business Opportunities electronic posting system web link at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. It is and will continue to be all potential offerors responsibility to monitor the fedbiz website for any amendments, updates, offerors, library, responses to questi ons and answers as the government will not be maintaining a mailing list. It is incumbent upon all potential offerors to download from the fedbiz website. Any communications must identify the RFQ number, W912P8-07-T-0034, company name, address, phone num ber including area code, facsimile number and point of contact. No phone call request will be accepted. The solicitation release date is 10 January 2007 with a closing date 24 January 2007. NOTE: Offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Reg istration (CCR) is required by Federal Regulations (See FAR 52.204-7004), therefore you must be CCR registered to be awarded this project and payment from any DOD activity. Information on registration may be obtained by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the I nternet at http://www.ccr.gov. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun & Bradstreet. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
