- The National Park Service, San Juan National Historic Site, is interested in purchasing two Diesel Trolley Cars along with two Trolley Trailers. The National Park Service intends to award a firm fixed price contract, as a result of this solicitation, to the offeror providing the best value to the Government. Brief description of Trolley Cars; trolley cars must have a seating capacity of a minimum of 18 people with two wheelchair locations. The trolley must not be more than 90" wide, 11' high and weigh no more than 8 tons. All responsible concerns may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the National Park Service (NPS). This RFQ will be issued electronically, on the Department of Interiors National Business Center (NBC) web site, at http://ideasec.nbc.gov, under Solicitation number Q5330070008. Paper copies will not be made available. Prospective offeror's desiring to conduct business with the DOI are requested to register at the National Business Center. Offeror's wishing to receive electronic notification of changes will need to register to receive notification of this specific solicitation at http://ideas.nbc.gov. This service is provided for convenience only and does not serve as a guarantee notification. Offeror's will be required to visit this website periodically to check for amendments and other changes to the solicitation documents. No other notifications will be sent. The anticipated issue date is February 1, 2007. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using Commercial Item Acquisition Procedures. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS code is 336510 with an associated size standard of 1000 employees.
