- NSN 9150-00-224-8729 Hydraulic Fluid, Arresting Gear. Unit of issue is CN, each CN contains 5 gallons. Purchased IAW Export Control Technical Data Package DL-13873-002248729-06226. NSN 9150-00-243-1987 Hydraulic Fluid, Arresting Gear. Unit of issue is DR, each DR contains 55 gallons. Solicitation will result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for a base year plus 2 option years. Economic Price Adjustment is applicable and the ceiling is 150% of the original base unit price in any applicable contract year. FOB Destination with Inspection/Acceptance at Origin for all NSNs. Type II 24 Month Shelf-Life is applicable for all lines. QAP 004 applicable. These NSNS are Commercial Items, are Critical Application Items, and are not a Critical Safety Items as of 01/17/2007. Both NSNs are Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) items and will require completion of a formal Pre-Award Survey prior to an award being made. The solicitation is for a Total Small Business Set Aside. Pricing will be evaluated on the Estimated Annual Demand (EAD). The EAD quantity for 9150-00-224-8729 is 1,740 CN for the base and each option year. The Guaranteed Minimum quantity is applicable for the base year only.
