- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to GE Healthcare, 800 Centennial Avenue, Piscaway, NJ 08855 for continued maintenance of the GE HealthCare equipment in use in the Parasitic Diseases Branch of CDC. The equipment includes peristatic pumps, P500 pumps, UVM HG optics with filter, UVM monitors, AKTA Prime units, AKTA FPLC unit, AKTA basic unit, Smart System unit, LCCC 501 Plus controller units, Frac 200 units, Motor Valve MV-7 units, Motor Valve MV-8 units, and GP-250 Plus units. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued.
