- The National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Institute of Diabetes, Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) has a requirement to purchase a Service Contract for DA Spectrometer system P/N#00723776-S.C. Platinum Plan which consists of: IZM01- .02 Interferometer; DA3PCINT - DA TO PC Interface; DA8PCSOFT - PCDA and BGRAMS software; IMA70 ? Motorized input collimator; IMH06 - MCT Detector, 400 TO 5,000 cm-1; IPB12 - FAR IR Mylar set; IMH44 - DTGS (FAR IR) Detector; IMB21 - QUARTZ, Visible Beamsplitter; IPH25 - INGAAS detector; IMH88 ? Avalanche Silicon Detector; IMB22 - CAF2 Beamsplitter (10 CM); IMH45 - INSB Detector, with Cold Filter; IMB23 - KC1 Beamsplitter 10CM; IMB46 - 3 UM Mylar film B/S from Bomem ABB, 585 Charest E Boulevard, Suite 300, Quebec City, Canada on a sole source basis. Authority: 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1), as set forth in FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy agency requirements. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This will be for a base year plus four option years. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is anticipated that NIH-NIDDK-07-076 will be available fifteen (15) days after the publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due ten (days) after the release of the RFQ. The anticipated award date is January 31, 2007. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Quotations must be submitted in writing to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, 6707 Democracy Boulevard, Two Democracy Plaza, Room 774C, Bethesda, Maryland, 20817, attention V.
