- The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration (NCA), Centralized Contracting Division (CCD) intends to conduct a Vendor Conference for purposes of information, education and interaction. The location will be in Washington, D. C. The anticipated date of the conference will be held in the month of April. The duration will be 2 days. Specifically, this forum is designed to provide updates on pertinent contracting issues as well as presenting future contracting opportunities. In addition, it provides an opportunity for industry and the NCA to improve communications through the exchange of information. The conference is geared to small, medium as well as large businesses and organizations interesting in meeting the procurement requirements of the NCA. Other information to be provided will include access to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website to research acquisitions, information on assistance provided to contractors in the various small business categories and specifications of the various programs that comprise the NCA. Various VA and NCA entities will be participating in the presentations. All vendors interested in participation will need to respond electronically to the CCD to the following email addresses: Broderick.stone@va.gov and teresa.thomas@va.gov. Response for possible attendance will be required by COB on January 31, 2007. Further updates on the conference will be published after that date.
