- The Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 9 Contracting Office located at 3400 Lebanon Pike, Murfreesboro, TN 37129 is seeking industry feedback on a draft solicitation for a computer based software solution for the proper cleaning and sterilization of surgical instruments for the eight (8) VISN 9 VAMC Medical Center locations throughout Tennessee, Kentucky and one location in Huntington WV. This requirement will be a full and open competition identified under NAICS Code 511210. At this phase of the procurement, the Government reserves the right to change the quantity or any other terms and conditions being procured. We solicit your comments and ideas to help make this a more effective process and produce better documents. You are encouraged to evaluate and challenge all elements of the draft solicitation. Comments on the DRAFT solicitation are voluntary. All questions and their answers will be posted as an amendment to the DRAFT solicitation. Incorporation of comments into any future document will be at the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The DRAFT solicitation can be obtained by emailing Linda.Dickey@va.gov or telephoning her at 615-867-5414 anytime after January 19, 2007. Questions and/or comments must be submitted in writing via email to Linda.Dickey@va.gov no later than February 20, 2007. As part of the DRAFT solicitation process, vendors will be asked to provide product demonstrations to VISN 9 Executive Leadership. The dates for these demonstrations will be arranged through Linda Dickey, only. Offers are not being solicited at this time and the anticipated solicitation has not been finalized and has not been released. This posting should in no way be interpreted as the official release of the solicitation. Award will not be made as a result of this draft solicitation. The Government anticipates releasing the final, official solicitation in FY 07 with an anticipated award in the third quarter FY 07. Funds have not been identified for this effort. When and if a final, official solicitation is issued, a formal announcement will be made in FedBizOpps.
