- Description
- This is a notice of the government's intent to extend the performance period for the current contract option for an additional six months (1 Oct 2007 through 31 Mar 2008). The government intends to negotiate this extension with Northrop Grumman Mission Systems on a sole-source basis. This extension will permit the continuation of services to sustain AF Weather Strategic Center systems and to complete system upgrades to achieve the architecture goal of supporting warfighter net-centric operations. This contract is a non-commercial, Cost Plus Award Fee, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract awarded via full and open competition for systems engineering, management, and sustainment for AF Weather Systems. This notice is for informational purposes only; numbered note 22 applies. This is neither a request for proposal nor solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the government's discretion. Information received by close of business 26 Jan 2007 will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition.
