- The objective of this synopsis is to seek interested sources able to deliver Data Transfer Modules (DTMs) compatible with the current F-15 Data Transfer system. This effort will include delivery of up to 500 DTMs by June 2009. Interested parties should respond to this message by providing clear and convincing documentation of their capability to provide Data Transfer Modules that are form, fit and function compatible with the current F-15 DTM (Smith Industries Part Number 164191-18-01, Model 3245A17, 2MWord) and compatible with the F-15 Joint Mission Planning Station (JMPS). The DTM is a battery backed random access memory based data transfer device used to transfer mission data from the JMPS to the aircraft. This item is currently an off-the-shelf item produced by Smith Industries. Sources responding should also have access to, or the ability to obtain access to, Smith Industries? DTM proprietary interface data rights. Interested parties should include in their response to this notice appropriate material substantiating their capability to produce the subject item, specifically, their production capacities, quality control capabilities and understanding of the subject data transfer technology. The applicable North American Industrial Standard Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement action is 334119, Computer Peripheral Equipment, Not Elsewhere Classified. Please indicate number of employees in relation to the 1000 person size standard, for determination of small business status. Failure to provide the above data with your response to this notice may disqualify your firm from further consideration. Information requested herein is for planning purposes only. It does not constitute a request for proposal and is not construed as a commitment by the Government. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered, however, receipt of responses will not be acknowledged. All respondents are reminded that the Government must receive all responses within 15 calendar days of publication of this notice.
