- The 436th Contracting Squadron intends to make a sole-source award to HEATCON Composite Systems, 600 Andover Park East, Seattle, WA for Thermal Blankets(Part Numbers: HCS2000-07, HC100100M51x, HC120120M51x, HC180180M51x, HC240240M51x) and Cables( Part Number: HCD1009-60, HCS1009-61, HCS1211, HCS2001-21, HCS2001-22) for the Hotbonder system (HCS9200FL). Under the authority provided in Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.106-1(b), the Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. Interested parties are invited to submit information concerning their capabilities, experience, and other data pertinent to their ability to provide the same type service without voiding the warranty or maintenance agreement of the equipment no later than January 28th, 2007 12:00p.m. EST. Pricing data may be submitted. Written responses must provide clear and concise documentation indicting your firms capability to provide the proprietary services. This is not a request for proposal and the Government does not intend to pay for information submitted. Respondents will not be notified of the results of an evaluation of the information received. No contract award will be made on the basis of responses received; however, this information will be used in the Contracting Officers assessment of capable sources. Only email responses will be permitted. If after January 28th, 2007 12:00p.m. EST no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, the Contracting Officer shall initiate a contract award solely to HEATCON Composite Systems.
