- Remove and replace approximatey 2400 FT of 15 KV cables from manhole 5 to manhole 44 at Watevliet Arsenal. Watervliet, NY, located 15 miles north of Albany. NAICS is 238210. SBA Size Standard is $13,000,000 total. All items will be FOB destination . Work will include pumping out manholes as required, locate failed cable, cut and pull, clean ducts prior to installing new cable, pull new cable, splice cables and wrap exposed cable in manhole, hi-pot cables upon completion of last splice, reattach tem inations to switchgear after phasing, provide and attach engraved tags to new cables. All work to be in accordance with NECA 5055. It is anticipated that installation will be completed within 120 days after receipt of notice to proceed. Contractor must be registered in CCR and will have certifications and representations entered in ORCA in order to receive award. CCR registration information can be found at http://www.ccr.gov/ and ORCA information can be found at https://orca.bpn.gov/. Estimated issue date of solicitation is 2/1/2007. Bids will be due 3/2/2007. This solicitation will be issued electronically, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Upon release of the solicitation, it will be available on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) web site at https://acquisition.army.mil and will be listed under Watervliet Arsenal. CAUTION: This solictation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interestd parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments that may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them pr ior to the date and time set for receipt of offers may render your offer nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. All technical data required for this requirement will be posted on th ASFI website and there will be no charge to access the data o n the web. Estimated cost of this project is between $200,000 and $500,000 total. There will be a mandatory site visit on 2/15/2007. Instructions for registration for the site visit are contained in the solictation.
