- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is released to announce the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers District, New Orleans has a requirement for the replacement and installation of two Libert Air Conditioning Units. The Request for Proposal is for a firm-fixed price supply contract to be competed under solicitation W912P8-07-R-0055. The NAICS code 333415, size standard 750 employees. The RFP and all information pertaining to this acquisition will be made available electr onically through the Federal Business Opportunities electronic posting system web link at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. It is and will continue to be all potential offerors responsibility to monitor the fedbiz website for any amendments, updates, offerors, l ibrary, responses to questions and answers as the government will not be maintaining a mailing list. It is incumbent upon all potential offerors to download from the fedbiz website. Any communications must identify the RFP number, W912P8-07-R-0055, compa ny name, address, phone number including area code, facsimile number and point of contact. No phone call request will be accepted. The solicitation release date is 17 January 2007 with a closing date 24 January 2007. NOTE: Offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required by Federal Regulations (See FAR 52.204-7004), therefore you must be CCR registered to be awarded this project and payment from any DOD activity.
