Description

Solicitation 8007-05 seeks helicopter flight services for four separate locations. Services are for fully Contractor operated and maintained aircraft services (AS350B2, AS350B3, BH206LIV with high altitude tail rotor system, or BH 407 type aircraft are expected to fulfill the solicitation requirements) to support the Bureau of Land Management in their fire management mission programs. The helicopters will be based at: #1, (shared between two locations) Wickenburg, AZ and Lewistown, MT with a use period of 130 days, May 1 through September 7; #2, Burns, OR with a use period of 100 days, June 12 through September 19; #3, Moab, UT with a use period of 90 days, June 1 through August 29; and #4, Ravendale, CA with a use period of 105 days, June 15 through September 27. These requirements include a government unilateral option to extend the services (renew) for an additional three years. Contractor(s) must possess a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certificate issued under 14 CFR Part 135, 133, and 137. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is January 22, 2007. It is a requirement that any successful awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to award being made.
