- This acquisition is for maintenance services to repair of Stranco pumps used with aquatics pools. The pumps are located in Sewells Point area, Norfolk, Virginia. The acquisition procedure will be Simplified Acquisition.. A Firm Fixed Price Contract is anticipated with a base year and four(4), one year option periods. The FSC code is J043 and the NAICS code is 333913. The requiring activity is the Commander Navy Region Mid-Lant, Norfolk, Virginia. This office will no longer issue a hard copy of the Request for Quote (RFQ); therefore, a copy can be obtained from website http://www.neco.navy.mil. The RFQ will be posted on 01/18/07 with closing date of 01/29/2007. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFQ, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
