- The Regional Contracting Office-SW located at MCB, Camp Pendleton, CA is considering establishing IDIQ contracts for the supply and installation of wood & metal dormitory furniture, lounge furniture, miscellaneous household items, and messhall d?cor items for the southwest region. The southwest region includes Camp Pendleton, Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) San Diego, Miramar, Barstow, 29 Palms, CA, and Yuma, AZ. The anticipated period of performance is five years (one base year and four option periods). The Government?s requirements will be separated into five lots: Lot One- wood dormitory furniture Lot Two- metal dormitory furniture Lot Three- lounge furniture Lot Four- miscellaneous household items Lot Five- messhall d?cor (Reference attached excel spreadsheet for FY 2006 historical usage information) A partial small business set aside is anticipated for lots 1-3, & 5. Interested small businesses must manufacture end items in the United States or furnish end items that have been manufactured in the United States by a small business. All interested companies are encouraged to submit a capability statement which, at a minimum, should include a brief overview of products/services offered, interested lots, experience, similar past projects, small business status, etc. Capability statements are required no later than 3:00 p.m., 22 January 2007 and may be faxed attention to Melissa Clark at 760-725-8445 or emailed to melissa.clark@usmc.mil. This notice is for informational and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation or ultimately award of a contract. All information submitted is at the contractor?s own expense. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. Qualified respondents will be included on the source list for any resulting solicitation, should a solicitation be issued.
