- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request of Quote solicitation number is M00318-07-T-0354. The provisions and clauses in the Request for Quotation RFQ are those in effect through FAC 2005-12. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The Regional Contracting Department, Marine Corps Base Hawaii intends on awarding a Firm-Fixed contract for: Item 0001, 18 each, Bunker cover personnel protector, high threat, size 7-1/2 ft (height) x 30 in (deep) x 10 ft (width), material ? molded, plastic system can be filled with sand, color ? desert tan. FOB destination. The government requires delivery to be made within 30 days. The NAICS and the small bu siness standard for this procurement is 326199 and 500 employees respectively. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contracting Registration database and Wide Area WorkFlow-Receipt and Acceptance database to be eligible for a Department of Defense contract award. Quoters are encouraged to use the Standard Form 1449, Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items form found at http://www.gsa.gov/forms/pdf_file and submit a quotation. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Evaluation and award will be made to the responsible quoter submitting the low cost, technically acceptable quotation. The quoter shall provide the information required in FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items. If the end product(s) quoted is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in the clause entitled "Buy American Act--Supplies", the quoter shall state and list the country of origin, DFAR 252.212-7000--Offeror Representations and Certifications -Commercial Items (NOV 1995), and DFAR 252.225-7035--Buy American Act-North American Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act-Balance of Payments Program Certificate (MAR 1998)-Alternate I (MAR 1998). The following clauses are applicable: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, Addendum (h): a single award will be made.
