- The Government intends to award a sole source contract in the amount of $3,300,000, in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to Sensis Corporation, 5717 Enterprise Parkway, East Syracuse, New York 13057 for work required to attain a Stage 4 certification of the Sensis MDS system. To meet National Telecommunications and Information Agency (NTIA) Stage 4 requirements, modifications and upgrades to the existing MDS system are needed. The COTS/NDI MDS system is proprietary and the government did not procure software data rights or technical/maintenance documentation other than the commercially available products. Therefore, Sensis is the only known source to make the requisite hardware and software modifications required for Stage 4 certification. The program acquisition strategy does not include procuring the MDS system data rights. This is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Items and services will be shipped F.O.B. destination and delivered and accepted at MCAGCC and PMTRASYS beginning immediately after contract award. If no affirmative written response is received within 30 days after publication of this notice, a sole source contract to Sensis Corporation will be issued. THE SUBMISSION OF THIS INFORMATION IS FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUCTED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO PROCURE ANY ITEMS/SERVICES, OR FOR THE GOVERNMENT TO PAY FOR THE INFORMATION RECEIVED. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS AT THIS TIME.
