- SOLICITATION NUMBER 362575-07-A-0012 WAS CANCELLED AND REISSUED AS SOLICITATION NUMBER 362575-07-A-0014. The Postal Service intends to award a fixed price contract for a new postal facility at 615 Route 9 South in Cape May Court House, New Jersey. The work includes, but is not limited to: (1) Demolition of designated site structures, retaining walls, fences, and foundations. Demolition and removal of pavements, curbs and gutters, drainage structures, drainage pipe, utilities, site signs, and landscaping. Disconnecting and capping or removal of identified utilities. Removal of underground tanks and piping. Filing voids in subgrade created as a result of removals or demolition. Disposal of demolished materials. (2) Construction of an 8,000 square foot postal facility, in accordance with USPS approved drawings and specifications. Clearing and grubbing, sitework, pavements, landscaping, interior and exterior concrete, masonry, wood framing and trusses, roofing partitions, interior finishes, doors and hardware, lighting, data, power, plumbing, ductwork, casework, signage/graphics, and accessories. The estimated cost of the project is between $1,550,000 and $1,750,000 with completion within 270 calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed. The Postal Service encourages the participation of small, minority, and women-owned business sub-contractors for this project. The Postal Service will select the offeror that provides the best value. The solicitation will be available on or around January 22, 2007.
