- Description
- This Solicitation is to procure snow and ice removal services for sites within a 30-mile radius of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head, Maryland. Offerors are requested to provide price "per occurrence," which will be based on the total snowfall categories. Scope: Contractor shall provide all Labor, Equipment and Material for the Snow / Ice Removal Services to the Naval Research Laboratory Field Site located at the NRL Pomonkey Site located approximately 10 miles from the Naval Support Activity, Indian Head Md. These requirements will be an Indefinite Quantity Line item per occurrence. Roadways: Snow/ice removal of approximately 4/10's of a mile of the main roadway from the main entrance at Bumpy Oak Road to Parking Lot entrance before Building 814. Roadways are 20' wide. Parking Lots: Lots to be cleared include Building B-2 (63' x 200' area) and Building A-9 and 814 (62' x 528' area) or 45,336 SF. Sidewalks: Snow/ice removal of approximately 850 linear feet of sidewalk up to 5' wide; consisting of 310' walkway between Building A-9 and Building 814, and 540 linear feet at Building B-2, Building A-30 and Building A-2. This contract will include one Base Year and 4 Option Years. Please provide quotes on the attached Request for Quote Form (Excel File). Representations and Certifications should be completed per guidelines. A Site Visit is scheduled for Wednesday, 20 December 2006 at 10:00 A.M.
