- Description
- The Air Armament Center (AAC), 46th Test Squadron seeks sources to award an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Time & Materials contract to provide Missile Fly-out Data Service in April 2007. The total estimated amount of the contract is $2,000,000 over a ordering period of (5) years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this effort is 541330; size standard is $4,000,000. This effort will provide continuous wave Doppler radar, infrared, visible and high speed video data of missiles during flight. There will be two radars necessary; as a minimum, both must be at least 400 Watts. Data collection activities include acquisition and tracking of a missile from land-based launch vehicle using a nominal trajectory file and ?well known target? with very predictable fight characteristics. Tracking must be accurate through the endgame; offeror should discuss proven ability to provide accurate and precise data. The contractor must be able to provide all hardware for data collection and all software suites to support data reduction. Raw radar data must be converted to engineering units to provide accurate missile roll rate, missile attitude and time, space, position information (TSPI) scoring. Hardware and software necessary to interface collected data with range control fiber optic networks are required to provide near-realtime radar TSPI to display missile fly out in 3D. Data collection activities may be accomplished at various DoD and DoE test ranges, therefore hardware and software must be mobile. Firms responding to this notice must be certified to operate WEIBEL and HAWK radar systems. Source must have SECRET facility clearance and personnel cleared to handled SECRET data. Only sources that meet the description of this requirement need to respond. Sources responding to this announcement should indicate their size in accordance with the size standard; ensure that the company name, address, a point of contact with email address and telephone number, Federal CAGE Code, Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number, and business size are included in the capability package. This is a Sources Sought Notice for market research purposes only and is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). No solicitation is being issued at this time and this notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Participation is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the Government.
