- Synopsis modified to update contact information. This requirement was previously synopsized under FA8107-07-Q-0113, and is replaced by this synopsis. NSN: 4730-01-176-8491JF, Part Number: 9977M45P01, Noun: PLUG, QUICK DISCONNECT. Item Description: POSITIVE LOCKING PLUG IS A CYLINDRICAL ROD SHAPED ITEM WITH NUMEROUS MACHINED AREAS INCLUDING 2 GROOVES AT THE AFT END FOR 9-RING INSTALLATION. FUNCTION OF THE PLUG IS TO SEAL THE LPT ROTOR SHAFT CAVITY AND PREVENT EXCESSIVE AIR OR OIL LEAKAGE. DIMENSIONS ARE APPROXIMATELY 2.4 INCHES LONG X 1.5 INCHES DIAMITER. MATERIAL IS AMS5643 AND AL6061-T6. Appl: F110. Destination: FB2039, *DGR005 (FMS). BEQ is 56 plus 3 FMS; however, there will be quantity ranges from 28-55, and 56-84. Delivery: 405 days after receipt of order. Delivery Rate Per Month: Will be specified in the solicitation. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 2 Feb 2007. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 5 Mar 2007. The anticipated award date will be 4 May 2007. Written and electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. The solicitation must be printed from FedBizOps by the contractor. This office will not mail solicitations. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. Award will be made only if the offerer, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirement at time of award, in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1 or 52.209-2. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements and is cited in each individual solicitation. Note: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government?s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
