Description

Janitorial Facility Cleanup Services at Minooka Park Facilities, Wilson Lake Project, Wilson, Kansas has a requirement for Janitorial Facility Cleanup Services. This procurement is BEST VALUE, Request for Quotes (RFQ) for Commercial Item/Services an d is totally set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation contains a base period plus two option periods. The Contractor shall provide all manpower, equipment, tools, supervision and other items and services necessary to provide Facility Clea nup Services for Minooka Park for the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilson Lake Project, as described in the performance of work statement. This solicitation contains a base period plus two option periods. The base year period of performance has two line items (CLINs) one, which runs from 15 April to 30 April 2007 and the second period is 01 May 2007 to 30 September 2007. The period of performance for Option period 1, line item 1, runs from 15 April to 30 April 2008. The second line item period (for Opt ion 1) is the period 01 May 2008 to 30 September 2008. The period of performance for Option period 2, line item 1, runs from 15 April 2009 to 30 April 2009. The second option period, second line item, runs from 01 May 2009 to 30 September 2009. The gove rnment will award a contract from this request for quotes to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government considering price, experience and past performance. For evaluation purposes price, experience and past performance will all be weighted the same. The standard industrial code is 7349. The NAICS code is 561720. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by this agency. The Solicitation package shall be available on or about January 19, 2007. OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS: Prior to quoting, vendors must complete online the Representations and Certifications. To do so requires CCR Registration, including an MPIN number. Instructions may be obtained, and required information may be e ntered, at http://orca.bpn.gov. One must register on the Kansas City District web site in order to receive any quotations. By visiting the following web site, you may download the solicitation. The web address is https://acquisition.army.mil. Bids are due January 31, 2007 no later than 12:01 pm (central standard time). REQUIRED CCR REGISTRATION: Prior to quoting, vendors must be actively registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) system, including creation of an MPIN number. Registration instruc tions may be obtained, and online registration may be accomplished, at www.ccr.gov. By submission of a quote, a quoter acknowledges the requirement to be registered in the CCR database prior to award; during performance; and through final payment of any c ontract resulting from the solicitation. Refer to CCR clause (either 252.204-7004 or 52.204-7) Also, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requires offerors to provide representations and certifications electronically via the BPN website at https:/www.bpn.g ov/ocra/vendor as a prerequisite to receiving solicitation, to update the representations and certifications as necessary, but a least annually, to keep them current, accurate and complete, and to make changes that affect only one solicitation by completin g the appropriate sections of either paragraph (j) of FAR provision 52.212-3 or FAR provision 52.204-8, whichever is included in the solicitation.
