- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on a full and open competition basis one (1) 300 Kilowatt (KW) MCFC CHP Power System using FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. This requirement requires the contractor to manufacture, install, commission, operate, repair, and maintain a 300 kilowatt (KW) MCFC CHP Power System at the Pacific Missile Range Facility, located at PMRF, Kauai, HI for test purposes. The contract will include an option or options to increase the installed capacity to as high as 1.2 megawatts (MW). The expected term of the contract is 48 months. Firm Fixed Price proposals are being requested. Estimated award date is 07 April 2007. A complete Statement of Work will be provided with the Request for Proposal (RFP). The RFP will be released on or about 06 Feb 2007 and close thirty (30) days thereafter. The RFP is available through the Federal Bu siness Opportunities (FEDBIZOPPS) website. All responsible sources solicited may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by this agency.
