- MARKET RESEARCH SPECIAL NOTICE: Proposed project M00263-07-PI0035M, Repair 2nd Battalion Barracks, Building 601, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina, listed herein is being considered for 100% 8(a), HUBZone or SDVOSB Set-Aside. All interested 8(a), HUBZone or SDVOSB concerns will notify this office via email of their intention to submit a proposal on the proposed contract as Prime no later than 30 January 2007. NOTE: 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB firms: This notification/submittal MUST include (1) Name, address, and small business size status of the firm; (2) past performance references; evidence of contracts of similar size and complexity, qualifications (construction costs between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000); The project information shall include, at a minimum, the following information: (i) the contract name or number, completion date of the project, and the total cost of the project:; (ii) the names and telephone numbers of the facility or installation for whom the work was performed; (iii) the name and telephone number of a supervisory level point of contract at each facility or installation who has knowledge of the performance of the entity or entities. If adequate interest is not received form 8(a), HUBZone or SDVOSB concerns, then the requirement will be issued unrestricted. In addition, if adequate interest is received from 8(a) HUBZone or SDVOSB concerns, it is the Contracting Officer?s determination on how the project will be set-aside in accordance with applicable procedures. This project will repair the existing structure 2nd Battalion Barracks, known as Building 601. The work includes but is not limited to all concrete crack and spall repair, exterior brick repair, sealant replacement, interior finishes, door replacement, restroom and shower replacement, mechanical, plumbing and electrical upgrades and all incidental related work as required. NAICS is 236220: COMMERCIAL AND INSTITUTIONAL BUILDING CONSTRUCTION with a size standard of $31 million. All interested 8(a), HUBZone and SDVOSB concerns will notify this office via email at alberta.abram@navy.mil no later than 30 January 2007. YOUR RESPONSE MUST include the requirements (1) through (3) listed herein.
