Description

This is notice of intent to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Walker-Schork International, Incorporated to procure two(2) Swing-thru Model STNM-27 Metric Tons and 2 Trailers Model S2040-35T. The uniqueness of the Swi ng-thru system allows delivery and retrieval of containers from either side of the system, and the trailer has the capability of telescoping, which enables the delivery or retrieval of 20 to 40 foot containers located in small isolated areas. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Responses to this notice shall be in writing and shall provide sufficient information for the Government to determine whether a bona fide competition exists and whether a formal solicitation is approp riate. A request for a solicitation will not be considered a response. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received by this offi ce no later than close of business February 7, 2007. Responses may be submitted via e-mail.
