Description

In an effort to promote Small Business opportunities, a second pre-solicitation notice is being posted. Any contractors interested in teaming with a large company for subcontracting opportunities should email Ms. Barbara Hawthorne, Contract Speciali st, at Barbara.hawthorne@hqda.army.mil one week after release of the Army Housing and Lodging Privatization Request for Proposal(RFP)W91WAW-07-R-0001. Email information must include your company's name, address, POC with telephone number and email, compan y size and area of expertise. Two weeks after the RFPs release, a subcontractor teaming list will be posted to the FEDBIZOPS page notifying industry of the small businesses interested in subcontracting opportunities under the Army Housing and Lodging Pri vatization effort and allowing ample time to finalize arrangements prior to proposal submission. It is anticipated that the RFP will be issued on the FedBizOpps and the Contracting Center of Excellence(CCE)website no later than 26 January 2007. The teaming email should be received in the CCE office no later than 2 February 2007 and the Subcontractor teaming list will be issued no later than 9 February 2007. Interested parties may gain access to the RFP via the CCE website at http://dccw.hqda.pentagon.mil/services/RFPl.asp This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government.
