- Sources are sought for informational purposes only, at this time. 30th Space Wing is seeking input from industry with the technical expertise to provide services of a non-personal nature for a consolidated ROMSSC/C4/LCC/TSCS/VESS contract at Vandenberg AFB CA. Information (Statement of Works) concerning the consolidated requirements will be posted to EPS NLT 20 Nov 00 for your perusal. This Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance(C4ISR)contract will provide operations, maintenance and support services on systems for communications, weather, early warning, surveillance, navigation, space control, satellite operations, spacelift and space/test range activities. This contract embraces a geographical area extending from the US West Coast to the Indian Ocean. Instrumentation sites are located at VAFB, other California coastal sites, and in the Hawaiian Islands. The government is sponsoring an industry day on 4 Dec 00 in Building 8290, Air Education Training Command (AETC) auditorium at 9:00 a.m. This forum will provide insight on the consolidated requirement. Contractors will also be afforded a one-on-one opportunity to discuss suggestions, ideas, and comments regarding the proposed acquisition (one-hour sessions will be scheduled and held 5-7 Dec 00). Written confirmation of interest, in attending the industry day and one-on-one session, should be provided by e-mail to Evelyn Swain at evelyn.swain@vandenberg.af.mil or Fax (805) 606-5867. One-on-one sessions will be scheduled for established dates/times by return e-mail or Fax, on a first-come-first-choice basis. Technical capabilities relating to the proposed acquisition should be submitted at the one-on-one session. The government is considering using NAIC 51331 for this acquisition. The determination of whether or not this will be a small business set-aside or full and open competition has not been determined at this time. Information received from interested parties will help in determining anticipated competition.
