Description

The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE) on behalf of the Office of Chief, Army Reserve (OCAR) intends to award a sole source contract to Dell Federal Systems L.P. One Dell Way, Round Rock Texas 78682, to provide support services for Storage Area Network (SAN) communication equipment maintenance. Dell Federal Systems is the proprietary vendor for all SAN equipment. This service can only be provided from the original source, this is follow-on service. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. This notice of intent is not a r equest for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all capability statements received by 26 Jan 2007, 4:00 PM. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the d iscretion of the Government.
