- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Northwest Mountain Region is soliciting competitive proposals for Security Guard Services (NAICS 561612) at the Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) in Auburn, WA and the Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) at SeaTac Airport, SeaTac, WA. Both facilities are operational 24 hours per day, seven days per week. All contractor personnel must successfully pass security clearance requirements before being allowed on site. The Screening Information Request is a total small business set-aside. The successful offeror's primary business must be providing contract armed security guard services and must have at least five (5) years of documented experience in the field of contract security services. The award will have a Base Contract period of April, 1 2007 through September 30, 2007, with four one-year option periods. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be available on or about 2/1/2007. Response to the solicitation will be required on or about 2/23/2007. Solicitations must be requested in writing at the email address or fax number above. Include full contact information including address, telephone and fax number. No verbal requests will be accepted. Screening information allows the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to determine which offeror(s) will provide the FAA with the best value. The FAA will appoint a Product Team that will evaluate each response received and make a selection of qualified offerors based on the evaluation criteria established in the SIR. The SIR evaluation process may involve face to face negotiations with one or more offerors. The intent of these negotiations is for the FAA evaluators, or IPT, to gain a better understanding of the proposed project and/or to clarify evaluation information submitted by the offeror(s).
