Description
The South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS), has a requirement to contract for a full service on-site service/maintenance which consists of 24 X 7 support hotline, remote diagnostic support and all enhancements to the contract for government owned DVI dictation system. The Contractor shall support operating software that pertains directly to routines that interface directly with hardware peripheral devices, the computer operations, and applications and utilities programs. Alterations made to system will be made only with the consent of the Government. All maintenance inspections will be scheduled and coordinated with facility. Routine maintenance hours will be from 8:00 to 5pm Monday thru Friday, with 4 hour response time. Nights, weekends, and holidays response time will be 6 hours. Emergency response calls will be no more than four (4) hours. Emergency calls will be determined when 25% or more of system is non-functioning. All service technicians will be required to have certification for service and/or repair from manufacturer for system. The NAICS code is 811213 and the size standard is $6.5M. Contract period will consist of Base Year plus 4 one-year option for renewal. This facility intends award a sole source procurement with Digitel/SA, 215 E Nakoma, San Antonio, TX 78216 in accordance with FAR 13.501 (a)(2)(i), Test Program for Commercial Items. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet the above requirements must give written notification to the Contracting Officer within ten days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Determination based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no valid responses are received, the South Texas Veterans Health Care System will proceed with the sole source contract.
