- NSN: 2840-01-462-7863JF, P/N: 2002M98G01, Noun: STATIONARY AIR SEAL; Item Description: This seal is a circular assy made of machined forgings and sheet metal components with a Honeycomb seal in the inner diameter and maintains proper cooling air flow within the eng. Dimensions: 24.280 inches in diameter by 1.865 inches thick with 15.14 inch inner diameter. Material: Rene 41, Inconel 718, Hastelloy X. Application: F101 Engine, B1 Aircraft. Destination: FB2039 (FY2303 ? First Articles). BEQ is 16 each. The issue date of the solicitation will be approximately 15 days after release of Synopsis. The anticipated award date will be approximately 60 days after close of solicitation. A Government Test First Article is required. Written and electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. The solicitation must be printed from FedBizOps by the contractor. This office will not mail solicitations. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. Specifications, plans, or drawings related to this procurement described are available. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision will be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award, IAW FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements. The solicitation is approved for release only to U.S. Contractors who are registered and certified with the Defense Logistics Service Center (DLSC). Submission of a DD Form 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreement, with your request for the solicitation is required as specified in the International Traffic Arms Regulation (ITAR), 22 CFR Sections 121 through 128. Note: based upon Market Research, the government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies/services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government?s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to address concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
