Description

This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC anticipates issuing a Firm Fixed Price One Time Buy contract for the procurement of a Generator Control Unit applicable to the C-5 aircraft. The Generator Control Unit monitors and controls HMG speed and voltage control, protection and fault management and Start/Stop control. CLIN 0001: NSN: 6110-99-322-9466UC; NOUN: Generator Control Unit ; P/N: 3022066-000; SCHEDULE: The schedule will include CLIN 0001, with the quantity of 3 each for. DELIVERY: Production articles are due no later than 11 March 2007, FOB ORIGIN to Muskogee Metal Works 601 Muskogee Blvd. Atmore, AL 36502 USA. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 2 Feb 2007 with the approximate response date of 17 Feb 2007. Solicitation will be available for viewing or downloading at www.fedbizopps.gov only. This Solicitation will be issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This acquisition is restricted to Eaton Aerospace, Vickers Systems, Larchwood Avenue, Bedhampton, Havant, Hampshire, PO9 3QL, England. Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), ?The property or services needed by the agency are available from only one responsible source or only from a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of property or services will satisfy the needs of the agency.?
