Description

HARDWARE SUPERSTORE SERVICES, OKINAWA, JAPAN. This is a Sources Sought announcement only. There is NO solicitation for any action at this time. This announcement is being issued to conduct market research. The information retrieved in response to the attached Sample Market Basket will be used to determine market equality and item availability. This announcement does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor does its issuance restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this notice, nor will it reimburse the contractor for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. The 18th Contracting Squadron is seeking information for qualified sources capable of providing all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, and materials to support a ?full range? Hardware Super Store located at various locations in Okinawa Japan. The contractor shall acquire, issue, deliver, and store a variety of material, equipment, parts, tools, and supplies for construction, home repair, and maintenance and repair for use by authorized government personnel and family housing occupants. Anticipated contract award date is on/about 01 Jun 07. Responses and comments are due not later than 9 Feb 07.
