Description
Description: The S280C/G is a mobile tactical shelter designed for housing communications and electronics equipment. The shelter construction is foam and beam, with a weight of 1400lbs and a payload of 7100lbs. The NAICS code for this program is 33 2999, All Other Miscellaneous Fabricated Metal Product Manufacturing. The EMI shielded shelter provides protection at 60dB. Dimensions are: Interior 116L x 610W x 65H//Exterior (envelope) 12'3L x7'3W x 7'3H// Exterior (Skin to Skin) 1110L x 7' 3W x 6'10H. The prime mover for the shelter is the 5 ton truck. The assembly will come with Cable Lift and Tie Down Assembly. Construction of the S280C/G will be done in accordance with ASTM E 1975-01a. The government will not provide the ASTM but wi ll provide the lead drawing 17-1-3274, Shelter, Elec. Equp. S-280C/G (Shielded) sheet 1 of 1 and drawing SM-D-947080, Shelter, Electrical Equipment S-280C/G sheets 13 of 13. Production quantities are being estimated at 100  150 EMI Shielded S280C/G per year fo r 5 years. In their response, vendors are requested to provide a company overview, a list of key personnel, statement addressing their technical competency for the production of the EMI Shielded S280/G, estimated time lines for production, and step ladder pricing for quantities of 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 175 and 200 units. Responses/capability statements provided in response to this Sources Sought Notice shall include the following information: 1. Offerors Name, address, point of contact, phone number, em ail address, business size, 8(a) status, HUBZone status, Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVO) status. 2. Would you be proposing on this project as a sole contractor, prime contractor with subcontractor(s), a joint venture or a teaming arrangement. The Government does not intend to rank submittals or provide any reply to interested firms. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in the preparation of the response to this sources sought announcement. Please refrain from submi tting unsolicited documents such as promotional literature. Responses should be limited to the information requested in this sources sought notice.
