Description
The Marine Corps Systems Command is seeking potential commercial sources capable of providing, a Commercial Off-The-Shelf/ Non-Developmental Item (COTS/NDI) General Repair Kit (GRK) for the Amphibious Assault Fuel System (AAFS) and Tactical Airfield Fuel Dispensing System (TAFDS) to replace its current inventory over a five-year period commencing FY07. The GRK shall have tools, parts, and supplies necessary to support 180 days of sustained operation of the AAFS and TAFDS. The GRK shall have tools, parts and supplies to conduct the following repairs and maintenance: Emergency and permanent hose repairs, repairs to camlock fittings, hoseline evacuation (pigging system), valves, connection components, flow meters, manifolds, fuel separators, pressure refueling nozzles, hand service nozzles, grounding and bonding devises, collapsible coated-fabric fuel tanks, pressure regulators, strainers, and fire extinguishers. Storage container(s) must be rugged, lightweight, stacka ble and capable of withstanding outdoor storage in all environments. Firms possessing the capabilities to accomplish this requirement are invited to submit the following: Statement of capabilities to accomplish the proposed effort; a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM), current GSA contract information (if available on GSA), past performance information, information on delivery/lead time, and warranty terms and conditions. This source sought/request for information (RFI) is for planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a request for proposal or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any follow-on acquisition. No entitlement to pay of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of submission of responses to this RFI and the Government use of such information. Proprietary information submitted in response to this synopsis will be protected when clearly identified as proprietary.
