- THIS PROJECT IS ADVERTISED AS COMPETITIVE 8(a) REGION IV. THE NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS) CODE FOR THIS PROJECT IS 236220. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, design, a nd other items necessary to perform general military construction projects in Alabama and Florida. This procurement will be advertised via a single Request for Proposal (RFP) and will include multiple competitions allowing for multiple awards. The Governme nt contemplates award of a single Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract at each of the following six locations: Fort Rucker AL, Redstone Arsenal AL, Anniston Army Depot, AL, Hurlburt Field FL, Tyndall AFB FL, MacDill AFB FL. The term of e ach contract will be for a base period of three (3) years and two (2) twelve month options. Firm Fixed-Price task orders will be issued against these contracts. The guaranteed minimum will be $1,000 per contract and the total capacity for the contracts ran ges from $25M to $100M over five years. This requirement is being handled by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, Mobile; AL. Solicitation documents should be available for download on or about 13 Feb 2007. A Pre-Proposal Conference will be c onducted at the Federal Building in downtown Mobile Al., on 16 February 2007 at 9:00 a.m., in the Second Floor Conference Room. The purpose of the conference is to communicate the specific details associated with proposal submission requirements, and to di scuss the overall competitive selection process as it relates to this specific procurement. Wage determination information will be in the solicitation package. Proposal due date will be 15 March 2007. Contracting officers will be Mr. Ed Slana and Mr. Gene Curtis. There is no cost for this solicitation. NOTE 1: EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY : The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, is implementing a new procedure for posting all new solicitations. The Mobile District Electronic Bid Solicitations (EBS) System will no longer be used to post solicitations. The new system, called Feder al Technical Data System (FedTeDS) is a web-based dissemination tool designed to safeguard acquisition-related information for all Federal agencies. All prospective contractors and their subcontractors and suppliers must be registered in FedTeDS before the y will be allowed to download solicitation information. This solicitation will be a vailable only as a direct download. This solicitation will not be issued on CD-ROM. Neither telephonic, mailed, nor faxed requests will be accepted. Registration should be completed one week prior to the issue date.
