Description
IQC Project RL07017005, IQC07019009012, NSN 6140-01-446-9554,Battery, Storage. Sole approved source: Sonnenschein Batteries Inc, CAGE 9Z763, P/N A512/55A or P/N DF-125; any other firm requesting a copy of the RFP will be provided one. Alternate offers with complete technical data packages will be accepted and forwarded to the DSCR Product Specialist for review. This item is being procured under "other than full and open competition procedures" under 10 USC 1304(c)(1), Unrestricted Procurement. This item is not commercial. This is a critical part, however not a Flight Safety critical part, per SAP, zsm_matinfo, inquiry performed on 25 January 2007. Shelf Life and Hazardous Warning clauses have been incorporated into the solicitation as dictated by tech data denoted with SAP, zsm_matinfo. This solicitation is for a proposed Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) with base year of 12 months and 4 option years. The guaranteed minimum is 156 EA, base year only. Maximum annual contract quantity: 1,248 EA. Minimum delivery order quantity: 156 EA; maximum delivery order quantity: 624 EA. The requested terms are FOB Destination, Inspection and Acceptance at destination. Delivery (PLT) was requested for this IQC at 30 days ARO for all delivery orders, as posted on the Surge Database website. IQC will cover DLA-Direct delivery orders only; stock delivery locations will be any facility in the Continental United States as cited on each delivery order per the DSCR Form P-41. There is a Surge requirement for total quantity of 32 EA. Surge provisions have been included within the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on or about February 16, 2007, and will close on or about March 15, 2007. The final contract award decision will be based on a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. ABVS has been included. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/ on the issue date cited in the solicitation. A paper copy of the solicitation will not be available to requestors. ***ELECTRONIC QUOTES ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR THIS SOLICITATION!*** Solicitation package must be completed in its entirety prior to submission. Incomplete submission of the solicitation package may be deemed unacceptable and may result in disqualification of proposal.
